Nicholas Leiserson is the Senior Vice President for Policy at the Institute for Security and Technology. A legislative strategist and technologist, he has spent more than 15 years addressing cybersecurity risk and resilience and managing teams of senior professionals at the White House and on Capitol Hill. He was integral in the creation of the Office of the National Cyber Director and served as one of its first employees where he built the infrastructure for an office that grew to over 80 people in two years. Nicholas spent more than a decade on the staff of former Congressman James R. Langevin, most recently as his Chief of Staff. He created and executed the House legislative strategy for the Cyberspace Solarium Commission. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Brown University.
